My approach
Cinematic is decisions
Cinematic isn't a filter. It's decisions. The right focal length, motivated movement, real light, and an edit that respects the viewer's attention. I shoot with intent so the edit has something to work with, and I cut for rhythm so the story lands.
The look is finished with a deliberate colour grade for a consistent, filmic feel, edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. Because I both shoot and cut, nothing is wasted. Every frame is captured knowing exactly how it will be used in the timeline.
Just as important as the camera work is what happens before it. A strong film is mostly decided in pre-production: the concept, the references, the shot list and the schedule. I spend real time there so the shoot day runs calm and on time, and so we leave with everything the edit needs, not a folder of footage we hope works. That preparation is the quiet reason the final cut feels intentional rather than assembled, and it's what lets a single shoot day stretch into a hero film plus a month of social posts without compromise.

Most shoots run in Bali, where I know the locations, the light and the logistics. Surabaya is a regular second base for brand and event work. For clients elsewhere, I also offer remote-directed projects where you brief, I coordinate the shoot and handle the full edit, so distance is never a blocker.
